Italian Gelato Is Coming to Flower Hill Promenade

Bacio di Latte is opening a second San Diego location at Flower Hill Promenade in Del Mar. The brand handcrafts its gelato fresh daily, and the first local outpost is in La Jolla at 8867 Villa La Jolla Dr. No official opening date has been announced yet. The brand shared a teaser video on July 14. Worth watching if you're a regular at Flower Hill.
Tri-City Is Now Sharp Tri-City, and Changes Are Coming

Tri-City Medical Center officially became Sharp Tri-City on July 1, marking the start of a 30-year partnership between Sharp HealthCare and the Tri-City Healthcare District. The voters in Oceanside, Carlsbad, and Vista approved the deal with 92.3% of the vote in the June 2 election. Sharp leases and operates the hospital; the Tri-City Healthcare District still owns the facility.
What's coming: more than $100 million in infrastructure and seismic upgrades, the restoration of labor and delivery (which was shut down), and expanded cardiovascular, neuroscience, and oncology care. All employees kept their roles and patients keep the same providers.
Until next time,
